English Grammar: Verbs
A verb is a word that shows an action, state, or occurrence.
Every complete sentence must contain at least one verb.
A verb answers one of these questions:
β What is the subject doing? (action)
β What is/are they? (state)
β What is happening? (occurrence)

She plays football.
